From the Field Organic Catnip and Refillable Catnip Mouse 

Since adopting a pair of cats from Tree House Humane Society, my family has gone to great lengths to spoil them with new toys and treats as often as possible. When Beth Fallon of Urbanimal contacted us, I was really excited to check out their selection of natural and eco-friendly pet supplies. My cats were really excited to check out From the Field's refillable catnip mouse and organic catnip.
 
The Cat's Meow (+)

• The mouse is made of hemp fiber, so it's biodegradable and doesn't need a lot of chemicals to be grown.
• I don't have to worry about pesticides on the catnip harming my cats or the farmland.
• The cats liked it more than their usual catnip toys - it kept their attention for more than half an hour!
• Being able to refill the mouse with fresh catnip means it will last longer than other catnip toys that get stale.
• The catnip and toy only cost a little more than regular toys.

• The catnip container is non-recycled plastic.
• Since hemp can't be grown in the US, materials for the mouse had to be imported.
• The cats accidentally opened the velcro end of the mouse, resulting in a small catnip explosion; luckily, there are also nonrefillable, cat-proof versions of the mouse available.

The Feline
I'm planning on getting a second mouse so the cats don't have to share their new favorite toy.
