ImagiPlay appeals to kids of all ages

I’ve always had a hard time finding educational toys that my kids will actually enjoy. So I was interested in the reactions of my three boys toward ImagiPlay puzzles, which promise eco-friendly, educational, and truly fun toys.

We recently played with ImagiPlay’s wooden cows and colorful dinosaurs puzzles. Here’s what I discovered.

All Put Together (+)

  • The toys are made from sustainable materials, such as plantation grown rubberwood. ImagiPlay even plants new trees to replace those harvested.

  • The toys entertained my boys. My oldest son (William, 8) was able to solve the puzzles rapidly, and he was amused with the cows and dinosaurs. He thought that it was really cool how the designers thought of a way to make the pieces all work together. When it was my middle son’s turn (Wesley, 5), the puzzle was not too easy and not too hard. He was able to solve the puzzle with minimal help from me and he enjoyed the shapes and colors of the puzzles.

  • The toys meet or exceed all European and American safety processes.

  • ImagiPlay requires all factories to pay fair wages to employees. And they placed their factories near neighborhoods where its craftsmen live so that the majority of them can walk or ride their bikes to work each day.

  • The toys are great for developing motor skills and imagination. ImagiPLAY products have been recognized by Parenting Magazine, Creative Child Magazine, and others for outstanding quality, design, and ability to inspire imagination.

  • Its website was easy to navigate.

  • I found the toys to be competitively priced.

  • The packaging was minimal, reducing excess waste.

Missing Pieces (-)

  • The puzzles are not good for unsupervised little children because some of the puzzle pieces can be broken. When my youngest son (Owen, 2) played with the puzzle, he broke one of the pieces trying to force them together, which I was able to glue back together. He loved the puzzles, almost too much. I assisted him by letting him know which piece he should use where. He, too, was able to finish the puzzles. ImagiPlay recently recalled one its products that broke. Read more here >>

  • Though they support fair labor standards, the toys are made in China, requiring more transportation and related carbon emissions.

  • The toys are not easily accessible in mainstream stores, although they may be purchased online, and its website provides a store locator here >>

End Game

These toys are not only educational; they’re also unique, entertaining, and eco-responsible. Consider ImagiPlay when looking for something unique for your children.
